Dr. RJ Loera
Dr. RJ Loera graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2014. He is a member of the Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He
attended The University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate studies where he earned a BA degree in Biology. He also won a Best Dentist award in 2025 from D Magazine.
The facet of dentistry he enjoys most is having the ability to directly impact and help his patients to maintain and improve their oral health. He enjoys getting to know his patients, learning their stories, and treating them with care.
Dr. Loera was born in Kingsville, Texas. He has lived in the DFW area since 1999. He has a lovely wife, Margaux. They have three children, a son, Elias, and two daughters Sophia and Leila. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, frisbee, going on family walks, and running.
Dr. Emma Van Winkle
Dr. Emma Van Winkle graduated from A. T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health in 2020. She went on to train for a few months with UT Southwestern-Parkland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. There she gained valuable surgical experience and became comfortable managing patients with complex medical histories. She is a member of the Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association. She attended Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate studies where she earned a BA degree in Biology.
Dr. Emma enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes pride in making her patients feel in control of their oral health. She strives to meet her patients’ needs with openness, honesty, and a gentle touch.
Dr. Emma grew up hunting and fishing in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks. She met her husband, Yousef, while training at Parkland. They stay busy raising their two children, Nadia and Adam. They love spending their weekends at the Perot Museum, the Dallas Zoo , or the Arboretum.
Dian Watson
Front Desk and Dental Hygienist
Dian Watson has been in dentistry since 1999 and has worked at Town East Dental Group since 2014. She manages the front office and works as a hygienist. Dian received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her hygiene degree from Colin College in 2005. Dian loves getting to know the patients and making sure they enjoy their visit to the dentist. Each patient is another member of our large dental family.
Dian grew up on a small-town farm in Elkton, Ohio. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Matthew, and daughter, Grace Ann, and son John Wayne. They also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
Pam Tomme
Financial Coordinator
Pam Tomme is the office financial coordinator. She has worked in the office since 2002. The best part of her job is being able to help patients achieve their best oral health and best smile. She loves working with a team that makes the patients' visits stress-free and comfortable.
Pam has lived in Mesquite most of her life but now lives in Rowlett. She has two grown children and three grandsons. In her spare time, she enjoys spoiling her grandsons, spending time with family, going on cruises, and working out.
Merideth Delozier
Dental Hygienist
Merideth Delozier graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2012. She was on the Dean’s List and honored in 2012 with an award from the ADPD for her work with those with disabilities. She has been a part of Town East Dental Group since 2012. Her very favorite things about this profession are the patients and work family.
Merideth was born and raised in Garland, Texas. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryce, family, and dog Milton Dean.
Janine Witherspoon
Dental Hygienist
Janine Witherspoon has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2007. She studied at Texas Woman’s University. Janine has worked at Town East Dental Group since 2020. She looks forward to educating patients on their overall oral health, allowing them to feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Janine lives in Wills Point, TX. She and her husband have four children. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends going to her kids’ softball tournaments and football games. She is looking forward to becoming a first time Grandma.
Hilary Bates
Dental Hygienist
Hilary Bates graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2011. Hilary has worked at Town East Dental Group since 2014 with a brief stint away. We are so excited that she is back! She loves being able to build a relationship with patients and help them to achieve healthy smiles.
Hilary resides in Wills Point, TX with her husband and two daughters. When she is out of the office, she enjoys sports and outdoor activities with her family.
Elizabeth Pecina
Dental Assistant and Front Desk
Elizabeth Pecina has been registered dental assistant since 2019. She is fluent in Spanish which is an asset to care for all of our patient’s needs from start to finish. Elizabeth has worked at Town East Dental since 2019. She enjoys spending time with her wonderful coworkers and patients. She loves caring for everyone as if they were family.
Elizabeth recently married her high school sweet heart David. She is supportive of him while he serves his country, overseas, as a Sergeant in the United States Army. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Lesly Santillan
Dental Assistant and Front Desk
Lesly Santillan has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2021. She is fluent in Spanish which is an asset to care for all patient's needs from start to finish. Lesly has worked at Town East Dental Group since 2024. She enjoys helping patients feel welcomed and cared for when coming to the dentist.
Lesly was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX but recently moved to Dallas. She recently got engaged to her high school sweetheart Rigoberto. On the weekends, they like to go to Fort Worth and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Judit Ochoa
Dental Assistant
Judit Ochoa has been Registered Dental Assistant since 2011. She is fluent in Spanish, which is an asset to care for all of our patient’s treatment needs. Judit has worked at Town East Dental Group since 2020. She enjoys making each visit fun and helping patients feel truly cared for and appreciated.
Judit and her husband have two beautiful daughters. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jacquelin Sandoval
Dental Assistant
Jacky Sandoval has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2019. She is fluent in Spanish, which is an asset for all of our patient’s treatment needs. Jacky has worked at Town East Dental Group since 2023. She loves seeing patients filled with joy when we help guide them to their beautiful smiles. She has her Bachelor of Science in Biology and hopes to become a Dentist to continue to transform beautiful smiles in her community.
Jacky lives in Crandall, TX. She and her fiancé have two dogs and an iguana. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
